Journal Entry 9

It took only a week to find where Josie lived, a small building stuffed in between other larger buildings on the edge of town, I watched for a few days learning their habits, Ronnie’s little girl had an affinity for art, she painted all the time, Josie wanted to send her off to a real studio on Voreki but they didn’t have the money, and they could barely afford to feed themselves, I felt distraught over what I had done to this family and waited for Nightfall, when it came I snuck in and dropped a crate of credit, enough for them to move somewhere better and live there for years to come, I had found it in the back of the spacecraft Warren had left me with a little note that said,
“I hope you find the peace you need.”
I left a note for them as well, explaining what had happened to me when I was younger, how I could never repair the damage I had done by doing the same thing to Abigail, and that Ronnie had loved them both so very much.
I left it like that and climbed back into my spaceship, which I then decided to call “The Dawn”
And flew away towards Voreki, to finally end it once and for all.
