In the morning I gathered all the information about him I could, Ronnie Millar was his name, his wife was Josie, living in a poor part of the planet Corëx, quite close to Voreki, but I had made a promise.
I wondered if I could do it? Look a child in the face and tell them I killed their father, in the end I decided I couldn’t do it, instead I thought a little, how had I let myself become a murderer? If I was honest with myself I had enjoyed my stint as a criminal, what did that make me? Would it be better if I was locked away? I thought that would be the best option, so I immediately flew to the nearest Galactic Republic police station and handed myself in, admitting to the murder of Ronnie Millar, along with many others as a member of the now gone Tefføl gang, they televised it, even had Josie present when they sentenced me to life in the super max prison on Theta-1.
It was for the best.
