It’s been another full year after I pacified the gangs, since I started ruling the Sector with a more gentle hand, tourists had started flying in to see the new places, as a ruler though there wasn’t much to actually do, approve a few buildings and projects here and there, fully flesh out the army into a more policing role.
Warren had brought word of a new gang one day that had taken control over a farther edge of the sector claiming to be the rebirth of a golden age, calling themselves Cobras, they meant to kill The Lily, a weed that needed to be removed as they claimed, they were weak though, with little power to command they were pushed back underground, one night though an assassin snuck into my room, tried to slit my throat.
It didn’t end well for him.
After that event Warren demanded I have a personal guard, and that we take out the Cobras permanently, I was happy to oblige his request and began an extermination, it didn’t take long for the Cobras to be eliminated once and for all with Warren leading the charge as my new Captain, he knew the streets and all the informants, his skill with his knives hadn’t been dulled by peace, only his anger had.
Wither meanwhile had been personally appointed by me as the head of Spacecraft design and testing, she couldn’t have been happier flying amongst the stars and I was glad to help her achieve that.
