It took a little while to get used to prison, it’s sad, lonely, violent.
I had only been in there for a year and was eating lunch when I saw on the TV the Prime Minister making a declaration of peace in the Kobr sector, I saw a flash of a person that made me pay attention, behind the minister was the man that had killed my parents, standing there like he owned the world.
I couldn’t believe it of course, how could he be there? With the Minister?
I asked the guy across the table who that guy was pointing at him, he told me that was Mark Nurden, a famously violent pirate who got his record swiped clean by some higher up in exchange for exacting their iron hand on uncontrolled territories.
I was furious, had Mark murdered my parents on orders from the Galactic Republic? To enact control over what they didn’t have? I decided then and there I was going to break out and make him pay, I didn’t even care about the Republic at that point, I just wanted Mark dead.
It started with a riot in the night, I had hotwired the cages to open up then and had spread the word about an attempt to break through the east wall, while everyone went that way I snuck out towards the west wall where they kept their impounded Spaceships, grabbed mine, and blasted out into the air.

I thought about all that happened to lead me here and decided that before I could kill Mark, I had to make Ronnie’s death right, so I headed towards Corëx.
